Processing, packaging and shipping
Delivery times are in no way a promise, and we are tied to Canada Post. Many factors can change without us even knowing.
Most of the time, the tracking number sent to you gives you the proper date. However, if you haven't received your order the day it was promised, we suggest waiting a few days before contacting us. The best thing we can do at this moment is click on the same tracking link you already have and hope for the best.
If you haven't received your package one full month after the estimated delivery date, we will refund your order. Contact us, otherwise we don't know.
All orders are shipped via Canada Post.
Within Canada, you can choose between Expedited Parcel (3-5 business days), Canada Post Xpresspost (2-5 business days). We do not control Canada post delays or interruptions, and we will not refund orders due to any issues with their distribution.
You can expect to pay between $12-18 CAD for one pedal and between $16-30 for a bigger enclosure. In the US, it starts around $16 and goes up depending on the weight and size.
For international orders, shipping rates should be displayed at checkout. It can vary between $35 and $55, depending on the location, for a single pedal. These prices are not fixed and can change without prior notice.
Regarding custom, duties and taxes, GUP Techis not responsible for any fees applied to your order outside of the price of the items. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). GUPTech will not refund orders due to these.
You can refer to the Canada Post website for more information.
We offer free shipping with $250 CAD or more orders, Within North America (US and Canada).
PPPC (Prof. Pinotte Pedal Club) members of levels 1 to 3 get free shipping in the same area with every order. International members get $20 CAD off their cheapest shipping rate.
We ship to most countries, but we might add or remove shipping destinations depending on the international recommendations or repeated issues to specific countries.
If you find yourself unable to process an order due to shipping destination, please reach to us and we will confirm with you whether or not we can proceed.
We refuse to ship internationally via non-tracked options, because delays are very long and there is no way to know for sure if the package has been delivered or not. If you are ready to risk it, you have to write to us and we'll decide how we proceed.
Orders with only in-stock items are processes within 1-3 business days. Take into account Canadian holidays.
Orders with preorder items or custom orders will ship according to the delay specified in the product page. We usually send packages on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we expect a significant delay in shipment for your order, we will contact you via email.
Refund and returns
PPPC (Pedal Club) members of lever 1-3 get free returns on their purchase.
If you aren't satisfied with your pedal, you are responsible for the shipping price to send it back to us, and we reserve the right to keep up to 25% of the price of the product if there are visible signs of wear.
If the product doesn't work properly, we take full responsibility of the shipping fees with the cheapest shipping option, but you have to contact us beforehand, so we can make sure the product is really defective.
Design
We cannot prevent you from thinking that your opinion matters and acting on it. However, we believe in respect and if our products make you sick, we can show you how to unfollow us, on all platforms. We can also redirect you to other pedal manufacturers who aren’t fond of plushies and flashy colours. Any comment that we consider disrespectful and uselessly negative will be deleted without notice.
We do not do custom designed pedals for existing models. We can offer personalization like adding your name or any identification (if technically doable) and we have what we call “Artist Series” (see question 7). If you are the first to ask and buy a pedal that we don’t already have and we happen to do it, we may or may not ask you if you have a specific inspiration that you like. However, the artistic process of creating a design is quite complex and imprevisible, and it is not likely that we want to use someone else’s brain for it. If we happen to take your idea, more as an inspiration, you won’t get rewarded or paid for that.
No. Every GUP Tech pedal will be shipped fully branded and decorated. We have worked to develop our brand and we truly believe that our design is a big part of it. We will be happy to refer you to other builders that would happily make it possible.

Discount codes
During promotions such as "get a free pedal with orders of $350 CAD or more...", there are a few steps to follow to ensure that it will work.
First, make sure you have reached the minimum amount in your cart (not including the free product).
Then, add the free product to your cart (generally we offer a limited selection).
Finally, add the coupon code (you can do this first, it changes nothing). If it's working, you should see the free pedal appear at $0 in the cart.
If it's still not working, you can reach to us and we can figure out the problem together.
For PPPC members (Pedal Club), the free shipping should be combined with every discount code.
For regular customers, free shipping can be combined with discount codes only when the discounted cart total is over $250 CAD (in North America only). You should be able to enter two coupon codes during checkout. If it doesn't work, you can reach to us.
Language and currency
More than 75 % of the customers and followers of our brand don’t speak French, and we believe it’s easier for us, in a bilingual country, to understand English than it is for unilingual English or other languages to understand French.
Our website and most of our posts on social media are posted in both English and French, but this duality requires more time than there is in a week.
Every coupon or discount we offer is calculated in Canadian dollar (CAD), make sure you do the proper conversion. Check this blog post for more information. .

Endorsement and sponsoring
Thank you for your interest. GUP Tech is a very small home based business that is mainly a side job. We work hard to make high quality accessible pedals, and we believe that we ask a fair price for each of them. That being said, “giving” free pedals is not really something that we want to push forward considering that a pedal on a board does not offer a very big visibility, and that we don’t really want such visibility either.
Thank you for your interest. The best way to help us is by purchasing our product.
