VeJ3 - Distorsion (Aubergine)

I’ve bought 2 Guptech pedals before and they are both amazing, so I figured I’d give distortion a go. At first I had it running through the effects loop and I couldn’t quite get the sound I was looking for, so I decided to run it through the amp. To my surprise it sounds way better that way. I would highly recommend this pedal, especially for those who like dirt metal

I wont lie, i was iffy at first... BUT then it hit. This damn pedal can really chug. I dont want to fangirl but god damn. This pedal can go from semi-clean to a Djent beast. For a little more info, I was playing through this pedal with a 8 string guitar tuned DAEADGBE ( Sometimes even lover) and it still keeps up and REALLY chugs.
I highly recommend this pedal. Would love to see another version of this with more knobs maybe, and perhaps a built in boost. Maybe i am fangirling, but it keeps on impressing me!!!

It definitely has a unique sound. I'm still working on finding the tone I hear in my head, the quality is of course always outstanding with Guptech pedals. I have 3 on my board. Theres an annoying high pitched squeal I can't quite get rid of, which is also an issue with the pedal this is cloned after as well. I think I should have gone with one of the other vej lineup to suit my tastes a bit better. Overall I'll find a use for this, just didn't end up being what I was after. For the price I paid, you really can't go wrong.
