In August of each year, we celebrate our anniversary. This year, things have been different because August was a busy month. To let Empress celebrate their own big milestone, 20 years in business, we decided to postpone ours.
September it is, then. What's so different this year? We have built our 10,000 pedal. Yes, some of the big ones in the business do that annually. Good for them. For GUPTech, this is a big milestone. We are a team of 5, and only Emilie (me) doesn't have any full time thing going on in parallel. Considering all that, 10,000 is quite a lot. This journey started accidentally in 2019 and since, it's been the best adventure of our life. To celebrate this properly, we have planned some interesting events.
First, we’ll have a sale from September 21 to the 27. Easy peasy. Every pedal over $100CAD that is “in stock” will be discounted 15%, with a discount code : PINOTTEFEST2025. This code cannot be combined with other codes, except for free shipping, when applicable.
However, there is a big flaw in our webstore platform that allows you to use the discount code on some variants of the products that are not in stock. For example, if we have 12 yellow FOAZZ in stock but no green ones (that are marked as PREORDER), the discount code will work on the green one, even if it’s not in stock. You need to be careful, because if you order something that is not in stock with the discount code, we will refund it. We might contact you to ask if you’d like to swap for the “in stock” one before we refund, though. With the amount of products we have, it’s impossible to manage.
Also, we have released a limited edition of our PdeQ iconic Presence and Depth EQ, featuring license plates from the past, and we will release them, and even give them with $400 CAD or more order (pedals only), no code required. If you get to $400 after discount, just add the PdeQ of your choice and it should be marked at zero dollars in the cart.
Finally, the giveaway. Let's admit that giveaways are fun, right? We'll have a three-tier giveaway, but entry isn't "free". It won't cost money but you’ll have to answer a 6-point question to enter. Answers with less than six points won't be considered. The question to answer is :
