This pedal is amazing. I know it mimics an amp’s depth/resonance and presence frequencies, but somehow differently with some sorcery. It’s straight up amazing and I would have surely kept some amp heads I previously sold due to lacking some oomph. It is always on in my loops and makes small amps sound HUGE. Worth its weight in gold.

Great price, one knob, works perfectly! Great control by little movement.. works better than all those expensive ones. So happy I found GupTech, this is my 2nd! I need a green Russian muff clone.. maybe the “Green Muffin” lol

I must admit, I was initially a little bit disappointed to receive a compressor as my surprise pedal. Didn't seem the most exciting, great art aside, but I was very wrong!

It very quickly gave me something of a compression obsession! Fantastically quiet before and after gain. It's even made me start liking my other compressors!

A big thank you to GUPtech, and Jonny Rock, for creating such a great piece of gear. It might be my favorite pedal, and I have a bit of a collection.

…that won’t cost you a fortune! I’ve had mine for at least two years now and no regrets. On my main board and has never left. Better quality build than the Behringer SF and still far more affordable than some boutique clones while still getting “that” sound. Now I can get those Live at Leeds tones, and it made me even happier that I was supporting a small Canadian pedal builder. More guitarists and especially Canadian guitarists should know about this company!

Incredible gate, beats a decimator Century and all the others by far. For the record yes it is close to that other one made by For666, But it has a much larger sweet spot where you can get it so that your notes can sustain forever, but not the tiniest bit of his or feedback will come through even at super high gain levels. All this for less than half the price of one. Shipped to US from Montreal in just a few days. Incredible company, incredible deal, great communication. Love Guptech, Have a GrindR too… man that’s a beast! Is something happened to this gate? I would totally replace it with another. Get one you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this on a whim, late one night while looking for an affordable but high quality HM-2. I stumbled across the Torch and made the plunge to buy it. The GUP team sent me the pedal all the way across the world to East Jerusalem. The day I received it, I went home and tried it right away vs my HM-2. It’s as close as you’re going to get in my opinion. While I was unaware of how the switch would alter the sound, I was pleasantly impressed by the options. All 3 are very unique and could imagine myself using all 3 functions. GUP did a great job diversifying an iconic pedal. I cannot recommend it enough. I really enjoy it.

Fantastic pedal and was exactly what I was hoping for! An easy-to-use noise gate with tons of range and ZERO effect on tone. You can dial it low to cut back on noise and feedback or dial it up for the tightest notes imagineable, with plenty of room to go if you need to go beyond that for some reason. Very pleased with my MWAC!

This is my second GupTech pedal, very reasonably priced and works excellently.
I use as my distortion sound when amp distortion is too much. Very touch sensitive, works great clean and dirty, real thump on muted power chords. Would recommend to anyone looking for a versatile distortion/overdrive.

Just received my "mini corn" today...
As a bassist, I'm particularly keen on high gain and with this little monster I've moved to another world.
Unbelievable, this little thing is a beast !!!
I've chosen the mini for its small enclosure versus my overcrowded pedalboard (picture below).
It sent my DG Alpha Omicron directly back to its box.
Reason why, and even if "Death by unicorn" suite it very well, I've renamed it "Thanos' glove".
