Tariffs, Customs, Duties and other import fees (edited on 2025-09-01)
As of 2025-08-29, new regulations have been put in place by the US regarding imports. GUPTech is fully committed to strict compliance with all applicable export regulations and tariff requirements for shipments to the United States. We ensure that every package is accurately documented and processed according to current laws and trade agreements.
However, please note that tariffs, duties, and other import-related costs are assessed and determined by U.S. Customs authorities. As such, it is the recipient’s responsibility to pay any applicable tariffs or duties imposed on imported goods. GUPTech cannot be held responsible for any tariffs or duties that may arise, as these are outside our control and subject to U.S. government regulations. Our commitment is to transparency and lawful conduct in all our shipping activities.
Shipment processing time
All "in stock" orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If you select a Preorder or a Custom Order, please refer to the product page to see how long before shipping. We usually send packages on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we expect a significant delay in shipment for your order, we will contact you via email.
Packaging
We really believe that we need to limit our environmental impact regarding the packaging. We reuse bubble wraps from the bare enclosures we receive ans sometimes use clean reused rags to protect the pedals. We ship everything in ULine corrugated box. If you order more than one pedal, we will wrap the package in brown paper. Otherwise, we limit the use of paper and tape and ship directly in the bare box. If keeping the original box is important for you, you should consider adding the extra packaging option to your cart.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Free Shipping over 250 $ (Canadian)
Free shipping over 250 $ cannot be combined with any other discount code, unless you are member of the Prof Pinotte Pedal Club (PPPC). We will not refund shipping fees for orders over 250 $ that have another discount or sale applied. This free shipping option is available only for Canada and United States.
Shipment method (Canada)
When you order from us, we make sure to select the carrier that offers the less expensive rate for a tracked packet. We typically use GLS, UPS, Fedex or Canada Post. If you are in Canada and use a P.O. Box, the only option is Canada Post. Shipping rates appear in your cart during checkout.
Rates are between $10-18CAD depending on location and subject to change without notice.
Shipment method (US)
When you order from us, we make sure to select the carrier that offers the less expensive rate for a tracked packet. We typically use UPS, Fedex or Canada Post, depending on the location. Shipping rates appear in your cart during checkout.
Rates are between $17-22CAD depending on location and subject to change without notice.
Shipment method (Outside Canada and USA)
We typically use UPS, Fedex or Canada Post. If you are in Canada and use a P.O. Box, the only option is Canada Post. We won't ship untracked anymore since too many troubles are cause with non tracked parcel. Shipping to Europe is between 1 to 3 weeks normally. Other location delays are confirmed at checkout. We do not offer free shipping outside of USA and Canada.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. If we have a confirmation of delivery on your side, we consider the goods have been received.
Damages
GUP Tech is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
