I can' speak for how close this is to the real deal, but it doesn't matter at all. This pedal stands on its own and could very well cover all the bases for your OD requirements.

The cascading gain stages make this a highly tweakable and interactive gain stacking machine, and may very well be the only pedal you need to play anything from blues to hard rock.

This is exactly, precisely what I needed. Sufficiently transparent, wisely warming up my tone, this pedal gives my needy neck pickup exactly what it was asking for. No need for anything else, I got a killer tone, full of a nice attack, with all the warmth.

I have one side set to "wake up" every amp I play through and it adds exactly what one would hope. A little sheen , a little girth and whole lot of better. The internal clipping switches and presence knobs make for a nice amount of tweakability if you want to dial your tone more precisely. This was my first GUPTech pedal, about two and a half years ago and it's been a mainstay since.

I've had the Queen of Crow for almost 2 years now, and it hasn't left my board since I got it. Awesome graphic, and amazing sound! I can't recommend it enough.
