Overdrive RIPD Honker

This pedal is absolutely amazing. Beautiful sustain with just the right amount of compression. Makes my amp feel more responsive than ever before. I would happily pay a lot more money for what this pedal does for my sound. Thanks for the amazing work folks!

Although the description says this pedal has a lot of gain on tap, I wouldn’t describe it that way in my rig. What it does is significantly shape the tone of my rig in a great way. It does the dumble-ish thing well, although I don’t seem to get anything significant from sweeping the filter knob, but lots of range on the gain knob. Really love the low to mid gain settings and clean up with the guitar volume is really nice as well. I love it for what it does so what it doesn’t do, doesn’t bother me at all!

I really dig this pedal. I don't know if it sounds like a D-style thing or not; I have a few D-type pedals and they all sound different. This is my favourite of them all. There is less drive here than I expected but I'm glad for that. I've found I can maintain a nice clarity while still getting a milkshake body to the sound. It also cleans up reasonably well depending on the wiring of your guitar.
