The GUP Tech Bloup! Octavia Fuzz Tribute is an homage to the Roger Mayer build of 1967. This particular fuzz has been made again and again, and here's our tribute. Tweaked around the TycoBrahe Octavia revision, with a proper transformer to bring that Octave UP fun, the Bloup! is a nice rendering of that vintage circuit, in modern manners.

Classic 9Vdc power, Volume and Boost control, we even the Octave Up mod to remove the Octave when switched up (Beefier tones ahead). It's not an easy fuzz, you'll have to goof around different pickups, guitars and amps to find the perfect way to use it.

At this point, you've clearly noticed the reversible-octopus-plushy design. The fun with that pedal is that we will choose what we'll send to you. Happy, sad, angry, blue, red, pink, etc. They are all internally the same but externally different. And you won't have any control over what you get. Why? Cause we can... and to add some surprise effect! Activate the RANDOMIZATOR.

Fantastic Octave fuzz

Sounds fabulous, the octave switch lets you choose how crazy/classy you want to go, and the look is peerless - I love how angry mine looks, fits the pedal perfectly.
To top it all off, the plushy is a fun addition that makes my kids smile.
Just awesome!

Great fuzz!

An all around great sounding pedal. Switches jacks and pots all feel very high quality. Have bought 3 other pedals in the last few months and will buy more with zero hesitation.

Excellent fuzz pedal!

The Bloup! is an excellent fuzz pedal with an enclosure that is simultaneously cool and cute! I really enjoyed my first experiments with it. I tend to favor high gain fuzz and the Bloup! offers it and manages to maintain note clarity. Turning down the guitar's volume and using the neck pickup accentuates the octave effect. GUPTech makes excellent pedals and isn't just limited to one type. I enjoy their fuzz, modulation, distortion, delay, and reverb. Excellent pedals!

Tone and build quality are fantastic, price on point and super fun letting them send a random colour!
