Dust Transmitter Foazz

I bought this for that extreme velcro sound. I play a Strat with low output single coils, and there's plenty of bias (sag), to sputter the crap out of it. It also maintains great tone through out all ranges of fuzz in combo with bias. I plugged my SG with a high output humbucker and dialed the bias out (no sag) and it produced a very usable big aggressive sound. Tone is subjective, but I've heard plenty of sub par fuzzes. This is not one of them, it's a keeper.

I had struggled with fuzz pedals in the past, never finding the same fatness I was hearing on my favourite records and struggling to get other pedals to play nicely with my rig. The Dust Transmitter solved that, as well as providing a wide range of fuzz tones.

I always wanted a Dirt Transmitter style pedal and picked one of these up on Reverb on a whim. I didn’t have any real expectations, but all I have to say is: “wow”.

This one of the best sounding fuzz pedals I’ve ever played. It has this extremely warm and sputtery charm. It did what my Walrus Eons failed to do. A pedal that cost twice as much.

I’m a “fuzz after drive guy” and usually find most fuzzface style pedals don’t play nicely unless they come first, but this thing sounds great everywhere.

I’d highly recommend this pedal to anyone.
