The EVL Honker is this High-Gain pedal in a box you need. It's basically a vintage hot rodded Marshall Guv-Nor. Think about a hot rodded JCM800 in that small enclosure.

The three knobs are classic controls, Level, Dirt and Tone. The toggle switch gives you access to three voicing modes (Normal, Mid boost High Gain and Vintage High Gain).

Power consumption : 11mA

Voltage : 9Vdc center negative.

Awesome, versatile distortion!

The EVL Honker is my first official GupTech pedal, and it has definitely not fell short of amazing!

I run a Gibson LP into an Orange Crush currently, and the pedal helps me achieve tones varying from the earliest Black Sabbath albums and Zeppelin, to Metallica and ACDC no issue.

It is super simple to use, the quality is solid, and the price is extremely reasonable in today's boutique-pedal age. What is not to love?

If you are a Distortion type of guy, the EVL Honker is a solid choice!
