I can’t believe the sounds this enables, especially for the price. It can be a truly transparent boost for solos, or it can add some nice gain for its own sound.
I use it with my Vox AC15, and it seems perfectly tailored for this amp. It pushes the Top Boost channel nicely, either as a volume boost for solos or to push it to overdrive a bit more. This gives me quite a few sonic possibilities. I love the sound of the amp’s gain in top boost, so this allows me to have a nice, just-broken-up tone, and then click on DOnut for a more distorted sound.
I also use it after a GUP Tech Bouzmaster for more volume for lead lines and solos.
The pink case looks great on my board, too! Thanks for another fantastic pedal, GUP Tech!
Stack in a box - oh yea - earns a permanent place in the board
DOnut Distortion-Overdrive (Hot Cake Tribute)
Enjoyed it more than I remember enjoying the pedal it’s based on
