DOnut Distortion-Overdrive (Hot Cake Tribute)

Probably the best thing I’ve ever purchased. Wonderful pedal.

I am using the DOnut into a UAFX Ruby via the send/return of a single channel amp into a greenback speaker. The Ruby is fantastic but my drive pedals were not playing well with it. The DOnut when engaged does not colour the great sound of the Ruby. It only adds more goodness to what is already there. Depending on what you want from your amp this could be an always on pedal. From light gain to syrupy fuzz this is great pedal that will be staying on my board. This is my first Guptech pedal and I I have been very pleased with the whole experience from using their website, watching the videos and their quick shipment across the Atlantic. I would not hesitate to buy more pedals from Guptech and currently have my eye on the DOF pedal.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this pedal but when I tried it out I was pleasantly surprised. It can go from low gain to a thick hi gain distortion. It pairs very nicely with my Vox AC30. My favorite setting is using it as a boost - crank the volume and lower the gain on the top boost channel.

Fell in love with this DOnut immediately. Shipped quick considering it had to come all the way to Arizona! Perfect addition to my pedalboard. Solid OD/Dist pedal.
