Our VeJ7 - POR-Corn (Preamp Orange Rockerverb) is a take at one of the most loved amp ever, the Orange RockerVerb. Tweaked with 4 gain stages, thanks to pretty awesome JFET transistors, this is the closest we can get to the OG using only cheap and common components.

Classic three bands EQ, input Gain, Gain, and volume controls. Use Input Gain to tame high output or to boost single coil pickups.

Power consumption : 3mA

Voltage : 9-18Vdc center negative.

Overall good pedal

My only complaint is that the EQ (low/mid/high) knobs dont seem to be very responsive, I barely, if at all notice having the bass knob all the way up or down- same with mid and high, so its almost like those knobs arent even there. I have to use an EQ pedal to tweak the ranges.
Beyond the EQ, the range of gain is pretty good, this pedal could be a boost or overdrive at the low end of the gain, and cranked all the way you get that jim root distortion. I do like that even when the gain is cranked there really isnt much noise/hum like with a of distortion pedals.
Still wish I had more to play with EQ wise (that would make it 5 stars for me), but overall it was worth the purchase.

Better than my Orange Amps

To the point... sounds thick and wonderful, and works with 9v-18v power supply (loving it at 12v). I had a few smaller orange amps in the past (e.g., Mini Terror and Terror Stamp). The PORCorn produces far more usable tones, and even sounds better. Amp-like and robust!

Holy cats; it actually IS a Rockerverb

I use mine in the FX loop return of my tube amp (6V6 fixed bias power amp). This thing actually sounds and feels like a Rockerverb; gobs of gain, the right EQ voicing, and squishy. Get yours before the secret is out.
