The pPTSD (prof Pinotte Tone Shaping Device) is a professional-grade parametric guitar EQ pedal with integrated clean boost, handmade in Quebec, Canada. This analog signal path equalizer delivers surgical precision for guitar tone shaping in your amplifier's effects loop.
Start with everything at noon, plug that unit into your FX Loop, and see where you can go. The classic V shape is also a good start, boosting the low and high, and cutting a little bit of the mids. You can also only use the pedal as a volume boost (unity at noon) for your solos with a lot of volume boost available under the Level knob.
Key Features:
- 3-band parametric EQ: Low (33-330Hz), Mid (250-2.2kHz), High (1.1k-11kHz)
- ±12dB boost/cut range for each frequency band
- Adjustable Q (bandwidth) control for precise frequency targeting
