CocoCast Preamp-Overdrive

2022-10-18 : New graphics, same boosting power.

Based on the old Broadcast console class A Germanium preamp, the circuit is built in a 1590BB enclosure (King of tone sized) with dual footswitch.

Dual channel, with independent Level controls, front panel voltage Boost toggle selector (Left is More/right is less Headroom) and laser etched design. 

Even if you can use it to crunch a signal, the pedal itself is a massive volume Boost one, with infinite headroom in 27V mode. Paired with the low cut, you can turn into a chugging machine to push your high gain amp the the limit.

Internal trimpots let you adjust overall gain level of channel Low and High. Germanium transistor bias is also "slightly" adjustable from the inside to compensate any weird environmental conditions.

Power consumption : 12mA in High voltage mode. 3mA in low voltage.

Voltage : 9VDC center negative only. Anything else will blow some stuff.
