2024-11 : New design, same circuit!
Based on the now famous "Friedman" sound, this dual channel distortion will bring any clean amp to a Rock monster.
Channel 1 is little more on the Low gain side while Channel 2 is on the High gain side.
Right foot switch activates the pedal, left foot switch toggles between low gain (lower row controls - LED Off) and high gain ( Top row controls - Led ON).
So many knobs to tweak to get the perfect sound. Internal transistor gain level potentiometer to adjust gain level on each channel.
For the little brother of the DCD, have a look at our SMK (So Many Knobs! Distortion), same circuit in a mono-channel enclosure : SMK
Power Consumption : 28mA
Voltage : 9-18Vdc Center negative
Buffer note : If you experience weird hissing when using high gain setting with high gain amps, it's always a good idea to have a buffer first in your signal chain. Stabilizing pickups impedance is a good practice to avoid weird behaviour in your tones.
