The Glou Glou is a 4558 based boost-overdrive pedal inspired by the Blue Note and the Animal pedals by J. Rockett. Classic VOL-GAIN-TONE structure with a FAT knob to add or cut bass to your signal. The HOT toggle adds quite a huge amount (in low position) of gain to your tone if you want to turn it into a Marshall-in-a-box.
Start with VOLUME at max, and GAIN at noon. TONE is acting like a high-cut, so put it at 0 at first and remove as much treble as you want while turning clockwise. The sweet spot is at 2-3. The FAT knob adds a lot of bass to the tone as you turn it up.
Design note : Glou Glou is the classic French way to imitate the Turkey sound, that's where the inspiration comes from :)
