 Here's a new noise gate from GUP Tech. Probably the most Canadian noise gate ever, the Military Weaponized Assault Chicken (MWAC) Noise gate is now available. Same easy setup as the SUN Noise gate. Can be used in 2, 3 or 4 wires methods. This one is a bit more efficient on the low signal side, compared to the SUN.

Signal detection flickering LED is always ON, showing signal detection as soon as you power the unit. 

Guitar In/Thru are on the right side of the pedal. Wiring those as soon as possible in your signal chain, after your tuner. Buffered is better. Come back for the gate (Top jacks) as late as possible in your signal chain (in the FX Loop, or just before amp if you don't have a loop).

Power Consumption : 26mA

Voltage : 9Vdc center negative only.

Great gate amazing value

Was in market for new 4CM gate when I noticed my ISP Decimator G-String II was creating percussive artifacts when lightly touching strings in gates sweet spot (on any power supply.. okay using internal battery) upon searching forums found a few people recommending Guptechs MWAC and decided to give it a try. This thing rules. I’ve used in both home studio and out at rehearsals / gigging and gating effect seems very similar to the ISP’s (perfect for me) not too tight / sudden but cuts out the excess. Gone are the weird artifacts ISP was giving me and having top mount send / return helps me plug into my amp faster. I additionally like that the light changes when it’s gating and lastly there is no tonal changes I can detect whether pedal is on/off or in/out of chain. Lastly it GLOWS IN THE DARK .. if power goes out and someone’s tries to take my board I’ll see them from across the room!

The MWAC doesn't Duck around!

Fantastic pedal and was exactly what I was hoping for! An easy-to-use noise gate with tons of range and ZERO effect on tone. You can dial it low to cut back on noise and feedback or dial it up for the tightest notes imagineable, with plenty of room to go if you need to go beyond that for some reason. Very pleased with my MWAC!

Dommage pas de schemas avec differentes pedales,autre que disto.je n'ai Pas d'ampli avec boucle d'effet.Pas de commentaire sur les voyants de couleur dans la notice.Pour le moment fonctionne bien
