2024-07 : Updated UV printed design! The Orange Box is a "sandy" one, it's the first time we're doing that at GUP Tech.

The history behind this Texas Boost starts a long time ago... Let's just say this treble boost is the ultimate inspiration from the Range Master, the Diaz Texas Ranger, the Pedal Pawn Texas Twang.

This TATouh is the ultimate cheap and reliable Texas tribute. Want to rip off your Vox AC30 like Gallagher? Or your vintage Fender like Stevie? Let's start here. One volume knob, one NPN transistor, and three Boost voicing (Low, Mid and High).

The design, that is still mysterious, is very representative of the state that the original one is named after.

Power consumption : 3mA

Voltage : 9Vdc Center Negative

True-bypass design.

Design note by Emilie :

For this design, I wanted to keep the Texas vibe, but I did not want to be too obvious or cliché, with a bull or some cowboyish design, especially since we already visited that. So, we researched the wildlife of the state and found out about the 9-band armadillo. You probably don’t know that but the French translation for this animal is “tatou”, and the word “tatou” is also the short for “tatouage”, or tattoo. So, to close this loop beautifully, it’s a tatou in the tribal tattoo style. And for the name, TATouh!, it’s Texas Armadillo Treble with a surprised “ouh!” to make it sound like tatou/tattoo. Tadam.

The pedal is fantastic

Within a few days of placing the order, I received the Texas Treble Boost pedal. I plugged it in to my Vox AC10 and Telecaster right out of the box. It has become my favorite pedal.
