Here it is, the former VeJ, the number "1".

The VeJ1 is based on one of the most used solid-state amp, the Ampeg VH140c (Channel A). You get full control over your tone with a 3-band EQ and Gain/Volume knobs.

Real gritty death metal tone ahead, kinda "fuzz-a-like" with a nice gating. With an intense EQ leaning toward a HM-2 tone and a growly distortion, it's really a beast of its own. Start with the EQ maxed on all 3 bands and gain at half. With max gain and Treble, it starts to Fuzz and compress a lot.

Power Consumption : 25mA

Voltage : 9Vdc Center Negative Only

Buffered design.

Warm, dynamic, tube-like, sparkly: all words that DO NOT describe this pedal

Are you looking for a pedal with lots of tube-like warmth? Something that will give you a nice little dynamic crunch? Well kick rocks, wimp. This isn't it.

What is it? It's a perfect re-creation of a cold, dense, solid state behemoth with one goal in mind: chunky Neanderthal riffs. When used as a pre-amp, this pedal absolutely NAILS the sound of the extreme metal cult classic Ampeg VH140C. The mids control goes a long way to changing the voicing: all the way clockwise for something more modern sounding (still relatively scooped) or slam it counter-clockwise for that classic Suffocation or Internal Bleeding vibe.

Absolute beast!

I bought this to run through a 5 watt Kustom tube head, which only has a single volume knob. This pedal quickly impressed me! It's easy to dial in, and honestly sounds good no matter where you have the controls set. I paired it with a PdeQ, just to see, and the bottom end really came through without getting muddy. If I had to choose only one pedal to run for a metal gig, this would be it. If I could only choose two, I would add the PdeQ. Nothing else is needed

Literally Death Metal in a box! Absolutely love it! Sounds amazing in the FX loop or in your board

Death metal: a pedal

When I first saw this pedal, I didn't believe it was an Ampeg clone. I was pretty skeptical because there are other pedal clones that are also similar that give that 90s death metal tone, such as the SNK VHD, and wasn't sure this one was just as good. Not only is it identical, but it's also compact, easy to control, and stands out on my board. It's very nice. I can truly say that if you are looking for an affordable clone, this is it.
