These pedals are compatible with Engl amps and they will replace the original Z4. You'll need a Stereo 1/4 cable to run the pedal to your amp.
The Chkn Switch "Quad" model includes 4 toggles/footswitch, so you'll need two Stereo 1/4 cables to go to your amp. Depending on the amp model, you'll get different features available on the footswitch.
Please check that your ENGL amp is compatible with the Z4 before ordering.

Chkn "Quad" : 1590XX enclosure. Please note that all our big white enclosures have scuffs and marks.

Besides looking very cool, glow in the dark chicken 🐔 🦶, the pedal functions very well, no noticeable switch noise . Channel from clean to dirt to FX Loop on & Off works great. For the Engl Fireball 25 connecting FX loop on/off I
used a Ring tip/stereo jack to Mid Boost/FX On/Off (back panel of amp) MVB switch controls mid boost . BOC switch will then control FX loop on/off. Great value with a very unique look!
